Last updated: 7 October 2026

Scope: This statement covers this public website and pre-sales enquiries. Customer service data will be covered by the applicable customer agreement and service-specific privacy information before onboarding.

Who we are

Stand Easy Ops is developing Agent Desk, a dedicated IT support, service desk, and cloud operations offering for startups and small and medium-sized businesses.

For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@standeasyops.com with the subject Privacy.

What information we collect

Information you choose to send us

If you contact us by email, we receive the information in your message. This may include your name, email address, organisation, role, support or cloud requirements, and anything else you choose to provide.

The website does not currently have an account sign-up form, checkout, or embedded contact form. Selecting an email link opens your email application.

Technical information

When this website is accessed, website hosting and security providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect it. This can include:

  • IP address and approximate network location
  • browser and device type
  • requested page, date, and time
  • referring page and basic diagnostic or security events

The site also requests its typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser may connect to Google to retrieve that resource, which can expose ordinary connection information such as your IP address and browser details to Google.

Why we use information

We use personal information only where it is reasonably needed to:

  • reply to an enquiry and discuss whether Stand Easy Ops fits your organisation
  • prepare a proposal or arrange onboarding when you ask us to
  • operate, secure, diagnose, and improve this website
  • keep appropriate business, security, and legal records
  • meet obligations under New Zealand law

Whether you must provide it

You do not have to contact us or provide personal information through this website. If you do not provide enough contact or enquiry information, we may not be able to respond or assess your requirements.

Who may receive information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose only the information needed to:

  • website hosting, security, email, and business service providers supporting us
  • professional advisers where advice is reasonably required
  • public authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law
  • another party where you have authorised the disclosure

Before customer onboarding, we will identify the material providers needed for the agreed service and explain the applicable data-processing terms.

Processing outside New Zealand

Some website, email, cloud, or technology providers may process information outside New Zealand. Where the Privacy Act 2020 applies to an overseas disclosure, we will take the steps required by Information Privacy Principle 12 or rely on another lawful basis for that disclosure.

Cookies and analytics

We do not currently use advertising trackers or website analytics cookies. Hosting and security providers may use essential technical mechanisms to deliver and protect the site. If we add analytics or other non-essential tracking, we will update this statement and provide any choice required before using it.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information only while it is reasonably needed to respond, follow up, prepare or perform an agreement, maintain necessary business or security records, or meet legal obligations. We review and delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.

How we protect information

We use safeguards appropriate to the information and the stage of the service. These include restricting access, keeping credentials out of source code, separating customer environments, using protected connections, and designing encrypted backup and recovery controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

For more detail, read our Security page.

Your access and correction rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you can ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access to it, and ask us to correct information you believe is wrong.

Email hello@standeasyops.com with the subject Privacy request. Tell us what information or correction you are seeking. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You can also learn about your rights or make a complaint through the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Changes to this statement

We will update this statement when the website, service, providers, or information practices materially change. The latest version and revision date will remain on this page.
